Autofric develops and manufactures products for high-efficiency handling of sludge and residual materials in, for example, wastewater treatment plants, heating plants, and various industrial processes. We offer a broad range of high-quality products covering the entire sludge flow—from polymer preparation and dosing to screening, thickening, dewatering, and sludge transport. Our program also includes spiral and screw conveyors for efficient bulk handling, serving customers across a wide range of industries.
High-Efficiency Treatment of Sludge and Residual Products
Autofric offers unique expertise in the design and manufacturing of machinery for sludge handling. We take the time to understand our customers’ specific conditions and develop solutions tailored to their individual requirements.

We also offer a wide range of machines for screening and thickening, as well as screw presses in various sizes for highly efficient dewatering of wastewater sludge or industrial residual products.
Screws and Screw Conveyors
Another area of specialization is the production of screw conveyors and spirals for applications in, for example, bioenergy, the steel industry, sawmills, recycling, the paper industry, the plastics industry, the food industry, and slaughterhouses.
With in-house design, advanced manufacturing expertise, and our own specially developed machinery, we can—under one roof—offer cost-effective and reliable conveying solutions optimized for each individual user.
Competent Contract Manufacturer
Industrial experience, skilled technicians, and a modern machine park also make Autofric a highly sought-after contract manufacturer. In our purpose-built facilities, we handle everything from simple machining to complex machine construction. Work with stainless steel is one of our absolute specialties.
We have complete lines for laser cutting, waterjet cutting, welding, press braking, roll bending, and assembly. In cooperation with local partners, we also carry out additional machining operations.
Part of Berner Industrier AB
Since 2025, Autofric has been part of the Nordic industrial group Berner Industrier AB, which operates in a number of selected niche markets. The group currently consists of ten independent companies with a total of approximately 250 employees across the Nordic region. Autofric belongs to the Energy & Environment business area.
Berner Industrier has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm’s main market since 2017.
