Recycling and Waste Treatment

Separation of Solid Particles
In many recycling processes, solid particles and fibrous materials must first be separated from liquid flows before further treatment can take place.
For this purpose, equipment such as the Sludge Cleaner ASC can be used. It separates solid particles from liquid flows and produces a more homogeneous sludge for the next process stage.
Sludge Thickening
After separation, the sludge can be thickened to reduce its volume and improve the efficiency of subsequent dewatering.

Polymer Preparation and Dosing
To improve the dewatering process, polymers are often added to promote flocculation, making particles easier to separate from the liquid.

Dewatering Using a Screw Press
Final dewatering is typically carried out using screw presses, where the sludge is mechanically pressed through several dewatering zones.

In addition to dewatering, recycling facilities require robust transport systems to move materials between different stages of the process.
