New Facilities and New Leadership – The Beginning of a New Chapter

After years of planning and intense work to complete the premises, our new facility in Råda is finally ready. The expansion marks a major step forward for us at Autofric – and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the company’s history.

Back in the fall of 2024, we shared our plans for growth. The reason was clear: a new direction for the business and rapidly increasing demand for our products created the need for more space to meet the demands of the future. Those plans have now been realized and brought to life.

The new, state-of-the-art industrial building is strategically located in Råda, just a few kilometers from the airport. The location gives us close proximity to our main facility while also providing improved accessibility and logistics for our customers and partners.

After hard and dedicated work, we were finally able to celebrate the grand opening on September 11. During a well-attended and festive day, colleagues, subcontractors, partners, and friends gathered to share in the joy of our new facility. The day marked the completion of a major project and, at the same time, the start of a new phase in our development.

That evening, we also bid a warm farewell to our former CEO, Jan Åslund, who retired after 41 years with the company, passing the baton to Joakim Nilsson. It was a historic moment and a milestone — marking Autofric’s first-ever change of CEO.

The new facilities provide us with more space, modern work environments, and even better conditions for collaboration and innovation. Together, we now take the next step in our growth journey – with strong confidence in the future, new leadership, and a facility that reflects our ambition to continuously evolve.
