Our own screw flight production creates new opportunities
Autofric is taking a big step into the future by investing in a new, advanced bending machine for screw flights – the only one of its kind in Sweden. Jesper Christoperson, Business Development & Sales, explains how the investment will improve production and the offering to our customers.
Manufacturing transport screws with individual screw flights improves the possibilities of creating customized solutions in all conceivable shapes and materials. The manufacturing can also be carried out with a precision that is difficult to achieve with traditional methods. For many years, Autofric has offered opportunities for spirals with unique flights.
The bending of screw flights, which is an essential part of the manufacturing process, we have not been able to perform ourselves – until today. With the new bending machine, we take full control of the entire manufacturing chain.
Independence brings many advantages, both for ourselves and for our customers. Being able to act independently of external operators gives us more efficient production, but also shorter production times and more reliable deliveries. With full control over the value chain, we can also ensure cost-efficiency throughout the process and competitive prices without compromising on quality.
Our machine will be the only one of its kind in Sweden, giving us new business opportunities and a stronger position in the market.
