We are celebrating 40 years of success – and the next chapter awaits!

 

As early as 1988, we began manufacturing machines for wastewater treatment plants and developed several of our own solutions. That same year, Krister Axelsson joined the company, and his experience in building cars and motorcycles proved crucial to our success. Another important milestone was the launch of our first self-developed screw press machine in 1995, marking the beginning of our current focus on tailored solutions for highly efficient dewatering of sludge and by-products from, for example, wastewater treatment plants and industrial processes.

 

Over the years, we have made continuous investments in new technology, which has steadily strengthened our position as an innovative industry leader.

 

The anniversary year, 2024, has been one of growth and new investments. To meet increasing demand, we’ve installed a unique bending machine for screw segments, the only one of its kind in Sweden.

 

We are also expanding with new facilities for final assembly and surface treatment, while other production remains in Hagfors. This expansion creates new opportunities and brings significant new recruitments to strengthen our team.

 

Today, Autofric is an advanced supplier of screw and spiral conveyors, as well as products for dewatering sludge and by-products from wastewater treatment plants and industrial processes. Through continuous investments, we maintain our technical edge and high production capacity.

 

40 years of success have passed, and today we are growing faster than ever, looking forward to what the future holds.
