We are expanding with new premises in Råda

Since the beginning in 1984, Autofric's business has been characterized by continuous growth and high ambitions. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation in the industry, both domestically and internationally, which has led to long-term collaborations and an ever-expanding network of customers worldwide.

To meet the growing demand for our products and achieve our visions, we have chosen to expand our operations with new manufacturing facilities. The new, modern industrial property is located in Råda just outside Hagfors and is strategically located near Hagfors airport, enabling smoother logistics and easier travel for our customers.

Jan Åslund, CEO of Autofric, tells us more about the expansion.

What is the main reason for the expansion?

– We are expanding the business to meet the increasing demand from our customers and to enable continued growth. The newly acquired premises provide us with the necessary space to increase production capacity and also the possibility to integrate our own surface treatment department, which will improve the quality of our products.

How does the expansion affect the business as a whole?

– The expansion means that we are splitting our production into two parts. Final assembly and the new surface treatment will take place in the new premises, while the other parts of the production will continue in our existing facility in Hagfors. In addition, the proximity to Hagfors Airport is a great advantage for our business. The daily flight connections to Arlanda Airport makes traveling easier both for us and for our international customers, which facilitates meetings and visits.

What future opportunities are created?

– The new premises are very modern and technologically advanced, giving us a strong platform for further expansion. With a 6.4 hectare site, we also have plenty of room to grow further in the future, opening up more development opportunities and capacity to meet market needs.
